WELCOME TO THE SILVERLAKE ART* CRAFT & VINTAGE, A MONTHLY FUNDRAISER CREATED BY LOCAL LA ART GALLERY GHETTOGLOSS, TO SUPPORT THE STUDENT PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AT LAUSD.

 

If you are interested in renting a booth please take the time to look over our rules and policies and keep this for future reference.


POLICIES
  • Merchandise can be new, used, or one of a kind items. No food, adult material, live animals, or weapons (or replicas) may be sold.
  • You must fill out an application and have a current ID.
  • If you sell more than 2 times in a year you must have a California Resale number.
  • Please call 323 467-0623 to enquire about space availability and vending prices.
  • Sizes range between 10’X10’ and 20’X10’
  • You must supply your own canopies (if you want one) and your own tables,
    chairs, etc. Your presentation should be neat and professional.
  • The market is the second Saturday of every month.
  • There are no refunds or exchange dates.
  • If you would like to become a vendor, email info@silverlakeartcraftvintage.com Be sure to include your name, phone number and brief description of the merchandise you would like to sell. Pictures are encouraged and can be mailed or emailed.. Limit pictures emailed to 3.

VENDOR RULES
  • Vendors should arrive at, and not before, 8am to set up their booth. No spaces will be placed until 8am.
  • You must check in with the site rep before setting up your space. Any vendor who sets up a space before 8am without checking in may be asked to break down their set up and leave the market. Once you check in with the site rep and get placed, you may begin to unload to set up your booth.
  • All vendors must unload and park in vendor parking before setting up. DO NOT PARK ON THE STREET!
  • 20'X10' spaces are allowed a maximum of 2 vehicles during set-up and take-down, only one at a time, in the aisle.
  • 10'X10' spaces are allowed a maximum of one vehicle during set-up and take-down.
  • Customer parking is a priority. All vendors and their staff must park their vehicles in vendor parking.
  • No vendor vehicles will be allowed in the aisles after 8:45am.
  • All vendors must set up within the designated spaces, assigned to them.
  • Do not bring your pets.
  • The sale of counterfeit or stolen goods and drugs is prohibited and is subject to loss of selling privileges, arrest and prosecution.
  • An adult must supervise children under 12.
  • All vendors must be out of the market by 5pm and no trash is to be left on vendor spaces. Vendors are responsible for ensuring their space and the parking lot is completely cleaned. Vendors will be charged a $50 cleaning fee for any space that is not thoroughly cleaned after 5pm.
  • If a vendor has not checked in by 10am, they are considered no-shows and their space will be sold.


IN GENERAL
  • The general admission to Silver Lake Art Craft and Vintage is FREE.
  • We have been promoted by the L.A. Times, L.A. Weekly, Los Feliz Ledger (and many more, see our press section) and are currently placing ads with Citizen LA and Westcoast Peddler.
  • If we find a vendor or vendor staff vehicle parked on the street they will lose their selling privileges.
  • There are restroom facilities at the school that is open to vendors & customers.

SELLERS PERMIT

 

If you do not have a California seller's permit and are not an occasional seller you may not sell at this event. A California seller's permit may be obtained from any Board of Equalization field office at no cost to you. Applications can be found on the web at www.BOE.ca.gov or you can look in the phone book under State Government. The business address is 1511 MICHELTORENA STREET (CROSS ST. SUNSET BLVD.) LA CA 90026. The mailing address is your permanent place of business or home.
